Speech and Language Therapist, Barbara, is inviting adults who stammer to take part in her PhD research study. This research is trying to answer the question:
What topics and questions about adult intervention and support do adults who stammer believe we should be researching?
The answers to this will help researchers to focus on questions that are relevant to the lives of people who stammer.
Interested? Read on to find out how you can get involved…
Barbara is asking adults with experience of stammering to complete an online survey that takes 30 minutes to complete.
To take part you need to:
- live in the UK
- be aged over 18 (no upper limit!)
- have started stammering as a child or teenager, and
- experienced stammering as an adult
You do not need to have an obvious stammer now, and you do not need to have experienced any stammering interventions or support to take part.
Small (£5) thank you vouchers are being sent when completed surveys are verified. These are being supported by the Dominic Barker Trust.
