We are thrilled to announce the launch of the ASC Stammering Support Hub, which is live from today!

The Stammering Support Hub is intended to be a resource for families, young people, health and education professionals and all those who are supporting children and young people who stammer.

Whether you are a parent/guardian looking for more information about how you can find the right support for your child, or a young person keen to get more involved in the ASC community, you can find answers to your questions through our Stammering Support Hub.

If you are a Speech and Language Therapist looking for resources or projects that might be of interest to your clients, or teachers wanting to learn more about how you can support pupils who stammer in the classroom, we’ve got plenty to share with you.

How does it work?

If you  have a particular question, you can browse a range of knowledge articles on the Support Hub to see if we already have the answer. These articles are based on the questions that we are frequently asked by our beneficiaries and the families we support. We’ve arranged them by audience but the articles in each section are accessible to everyone!

You can also find our Top Tip articles on there. We’ve included tips suggested by the children and young people we work with, as well as ideas based on our experience of supporting children who stammer and their families for over 30 years.

The Stammering Support Hub is live 24/7. We’ll constantly be updating the content so if there’s something you want to know that we haven’t written an article about yet, get in touch.

Can I talk to a human?

If you can’t find what you’re looking for or if you have a particular enquiry that you would like to chat to a human about, you can speak with our Support Hub Advisor online or over the phone between 9am and 11am on weekdays. And, even better, you can choose how you interact with our Support Hub Advisor!

Get in touch by:

You can contact us via these channels at any time – the Support Hub Advisor will respond when she’s back online.

The Stammer Bot can help to navigate you to relevant articles based on what you ask, or it will connect you with the Support Hub Advisor when she is online.

The 30-minute Support Slots are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 11am. Choose a time that works for you and our Support Hub Advisor will be in touch with details.

We’re really excited about this new service and we hope that it will be of great benefit to the children, young people and families we support, as well as the wider stammering community.
