Information & Resources

With over 30 years’ experience and the latest research behind us, we support families of children who stammer to feel more  confident and informed. By sharing trustworthy guidance, we empower families with the understanding they need to access the right services and better support their children.

We also put our experience to work in supporting professional communities, sharing knowledge and practical tools to help them to help the children and young people they work alongside to truly thrive.

  • Our Stammering Support Hub is designed to cater to the unique needs of young people who stammer, their families and the professional communities who support them. Through 24/7 online support, we provide clear and accessible information on a range of topics.

At the same time, we recognise that every child or young person’s experience of stammering is individual to them. For those who need tailored support, we have a dedicated advisor on the ASC team; Grace is here to listen, answer questions and offer reliable, personalised support across a range of channels.

  • For children and young people who stammer, feeling understood and included in the classroom can be life-changing. Our Stammer Awareness Toolkit is transforming how UK schools support these students, nurturing learning environments where everyone
    can thrive.

The toolkit empowers education professionals with tools, strategies and insights to help them feel confident and comfortable supporting students who stammer.

Co-created with young people, families, teaching professionals and speech & language therapists, the toolkit draws on the latest research about stammering. It blends practical training, real-life stories and a platform for sharing best practice – fully online and
self-paced to fit around busy schedules.

Schools also receive expert guidance from our ASC Team and Stammering Support Hub, helping them work towards official Stammer Awareness Status.
