Discover the Stammer Awareness Toolkit

The Stammering Awareness Toolkit is an engaging resource for teaching staff, organised into a series of interactive learning modules with written, audio, and video content. It covers understanding stammering and its impact on children, classroom strategies and modifications, specialist support from external agencies, promoting stammering awareness and acceptance, and FAQs and resources. Each module concludes with a short quiz to reinforce learning. Additional resources and support are available through the ASC Support Hub, with opportunities for schools to engage in ASC projects and activities.

Key Features:

  • Access: One-year access to the toolkit via an online portal for senior leadership teams, teachers, and teaching assistants.
  • Modules: Four comprehensive modules that staff can complete at their own pace.
  • Content: Interactive materials, practical strategies, and information about local services and organisations.
