We’re here to make sure that every child who stammers has the support, respect and confidence to live the life they want to lead.
To achieve this, we offer a number of programmes and projects that promote children’s wellbeing, support those tricky transitions into secondary school and early adulthood, and engage young people in our community so that no child ever feels alone.
As part of our offer to children and families, we fully fund places on specialist stammering courses delivered in partnership with Talking Out Ltd. Each year, young people who stammer can take part in one of three week-long courses to develop their confidence, resilience and self-esteem. For many, these courses will be the first time they have met another young person who stammers.
All the proceeds from the raffle will fund places for more young people who stammer to take part in these life-changing courses. As well as helping us to continue to provide much-needed support to young people and their families, entrants are also in for a chance of winning a host of exciting prizes – chief among them, a week-long Virgin Voyages Cruise!
