The Travers Reid Award 2018

Applications are invited for the 2018 Travers Reid Award to be made in honour of the co-founder and Life President of the charity, Action for Stammering Children.

This award is for £300 and is made annually by Action for Stammering Children.  It is open to any UK speech and language therapy student (full or part time) whose research project written within the last three years is on the subject of stammering. Priority will be given to projects that focus on children or young people, or have application to those client groups.

Applicants are invited to submit a 500-word abstract, together with a covering letter of recommendation from their supervisor, by 1st November 2018.  Those applicants whose projects are short-listed will be asked to send their full project.  The Award will be presented by Michael Palin on 19th December 2018.
