STAMMAFest 2022 – Come and meet the ASC team!
This year STAMMAFest returns and we’re pleased to say that the Action for Stammering Children team will be in attendance. We’re sponsoring Family Day on Saturday, August 27th.
There will be opportunities to hear from members of the ASC family. Two ASC sessions will be taking place on Saturday:
- Michael Scott – ASC Youth Panel Member
“The ASC Youth Panel – Past, Present & Future” – Room: FLEX 1 Time: 2.15-2.45pm
Michael will be giving a session about the history of our incredible Youth Panel, detailing the projects they have overseen through the years and the exciting developments happening in the future. With a mix of information and his natural humour – this is not one to miss!
- Zain Ghani – ASC Trustee
“Empowering, engaging & educating around Stammering.” – Room: TR4 Time: 2.45-3.15pm
Zain has been working with our charity since 2015 as a founding member of our Youth Panel. This year Zain became a Trustee of our charity. His session goes into detail about how we look at stammering and how we can make this world a better place for everyone who stammers.
Zain said: “I am excited to be included in the programme of workshops for the International STAMMA Fest 2022! It is great for me to have the opportunity to share my experiences of being involved with ASC over the years to inspire many young stammerers to get involved in raising the awareness of stammering. Let’s go!”
We also have a stall at the conference, you can find us at Hub 2 on the ground floor! At our stall you can learn more about our work and upcoming projects.
