Join us for the launch of our Desert Challenge Appeal
Next year, Dr Alan Crofts and his expedition team of intrepid explorers will endeavour to cross the most challenging region of desert in the Arabian Peninsula, the Sun’s Anvil. The team are undertaking this gruelling four-week expedition to raise funds for the residential stammering courses ASC provides in partnership with Talking Out Ltd in North Yorkshire.
We’re inviting you to join us on the evening of 10th July as we kick-off our Desert Challenge Appeal, which will ensure hundreds more children and young people who stammer can access these life-changing courses. During the evening, you will hear from the team about their ambitious journey, and have the opportunity to meet some of the young people who have benefited from the stammering courses to date.
Action for Stammering Children exists to make sure that every child who stammers has the support, respect and confidence to live the life they want to lead. For several years, we have partnered with Talking Out to ensure that young people who stammer can access specialist courses to build their confidence, boost resilience and ensure they fulfil their potential.
