Get involved in our Royal Bake-Off!

On 6th May, the country will celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. To mark this royal occasion, we would love for you and your community to celebrate with us by taking part in our ASC Royal Bake Off…
The Royal Family have made volunteering and charity giving a big part of the coronation weekend.
Whether you’re involved in planning a street party, arranging an informal gathering with friends, or organising an office party, we’d love it if you would invite your community to take part in our Royal Bake Off in aid of the work that we do with children who stammer and their families across the country.

What would it involve?
We’re inviting you to add a Royal Quiche (for the pastry lovers among you) or a Royal Cake (for those with a sweeter tooth) competition to your coronation plans over the weekend of 6th – 8th May 2023.
– Pick where and when you want to hold your Royal Bake Off, and let us know you’re doing it!
– Invite friends, family, work colleagues to take part or if you’re involved in your local street party, ask everyone attending to join in
– Find someone to judge the entries or throw it out to a vote of all those participating
– We’d suggest that participating individuals pay a small entry fee (£3 – £5), all of which would be donated to ASC. You can also provide an option of receiving cash donations or point them to our website.
– Send us photos and updates about how it went!
For those of you who weren’t aware, King George VI, King Charles III’s grandfather stammered. Yet another reason to mark this special occasion.
As the national charity for children and young people who stammer and their families, we’re here to make sure that every child who stammers has the support, respect and confidence to live the life they want to lead.
Will you help us?
